Shri. Rajan Babu is also working for the betterment of the disabled children by proposing to start a school which would offer virtually every such children enrolled with a minimum devotion of two sessions per week.  All classes would be offered in the medium of English and Telugu.  On admission, therapists and teacher would assess every child’s development skills and prepare history sheet in order to provide opportunity for children with special needs and to advice and train their parents and to develop these children in all walks of life.  The service in the school would be provided by qualified early interventionists who are otherwise professionally qualified with special education, early education and psychology.

Shri. C. Rajan Babu apart from his Social & Cultural involvement he is also a devotee of Lord Venkateswara of Tirupati.  Being a resident of Chennai he has associated himself for the last fifteen years in the Committee of Arulmigu Navasakthy Vinayakar Temple in Directors Colony, Kodambakkam, Chennai and he is now holding the post of Vice-President of the above Trust.  The flair for serving the society at large held by Shri. C. Rajan Babu continued to the above religious trust also, by which he made the following contributions through the temple committee.


a)  Every month donating Rs. 1000 to one orphanage in Madras.
b)  Every month donating Rs. 1,000 to one old age in and around Madras.
c)  Donated Rs. 50,000 to Kargil War Fund.
d)  Donated Rs. 10,000 to Chennai Mayor’s Flood Relief Fund.
e)  Donated Rs. 10,000 to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.

Recently the efforts taken by Shri. Rajan Babu, resulted in the committee accepting to adopt the maintenance and educational expenses of Two Minor Children of the poor lady who was working as a casual labour in the temple who died in harness leaving the children as orphans.

Shri. C. Rajan Babu is known both as a person involved, dedicated social activist had used his experience and contacts to bring attention to a number of important issues in the field of

(1) AIDS Awareness,
(2) Welfare activities for the upliftment of the developmentally disabled,
(3) Fire Accident Awareness Programmes and many more to continue.
